Hana Bookman

Hana Bookman is a New York-based multidisciplinary performing artist who weaves her talents as an
actor, dancer, and singer-songwriter.
Hana released her debut single, "Everywhere & Nowhere", an homage to her multicultural upbringing.
Her latest single, "Purple Hue," is a folk-ballad blending lyrics, written and sung in both Japanese and English.
She is an on-screen and on-stage actor, having acted in short films, commercials, and musical theatre works.
Hana is also a movement-based storyteller, producer, and choreographer for music videos, working with various
artists and filmmakers. Her recent film, Picnic Island (2023) is an upcoming short, which she co-produced and performed in.
She received a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre, Film, & Digital Production at The University of California, Riverside
where she trained as an actor for on camera and stage, studied filmmaking and stage production. In 2014, she was a member of the running crew for Japan's Shiki Theatre Company facilitating operations of a major Broadway show.
Hana was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and has lived extensively in Tokyo, Japan.
She is a graduate of the 2016 International College of Musical Theatre having studied in both New York and London.
